We had teachers day today! Meen did a sketch with some friends and they were hilarious. I have rehearsals for my july 5th performance today with Airish and Maizuraa. Then I have another one to rehears for on the 9th or somewhere the 1st week of august. It takes me back to rehearsing when I was about 5 to perform at shangri-la hotel. I was one of about 15 dancers then. Ill always remember that hehe. Daddy says it was the sart of it all. I started singing when I was two but performing since I was 5 =)

At first it started of really as dancing. Performances at stadium bukit jalil, J.w marriot, Raintree club, Luna Bar, RSGC, IKANO power centre, Istana budaya, all these oppertunities i was blessed enough to have. And it all started in school. I performed once and the principle liked it so whenever there was an event he would ask me and my dance group to dance. O h the good days. I even won a gold medal in a dancing competition with my group and won a gold medal in a talent show for dancing. And my dance group and I got 4th place in a national dance competition. Oh that was unforgetable. How I miss those days.

Singing was really on the side. Joining choirs, group singing and all that. But I started of horrible. Daddy says I was never horrible I jus didnt know how to use my skill. He says I have come a long way since then. And I agree with him. I remember my 1st singing exam. Woah i was horrible. And im not just saying that. I really was. But as I got better, More singing oppertunities came knocking. People come to my performances and I am lucky enough to be liked and booked for shows. And my brother really helped me at getting a lot of performances as he too recently performs. And I am so grateful for each and every one of them no matter how big or small.

My singing teacher thinks Im ready to do performing professionally. But I dont think I am. I have much more to learn. And Im looking forward to learning. Im not looking at how great being a performer is going to be, Or how many albums Im going to have, Or where Im going to go on tour. I do it becouse as I grew up it has become a part of me. Being in a very musical family helps. And its who I am. I do it for me. I dont care how long Im climbing the mountain, coz the view on the way up is just as beautiful as at the top =)
